    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

Raxa felt her teeth break the stallion's skin; her attack, partially, had been a success. She was a bit frustrated that her knees hadn't hit their mark on the stallion's chest, meaning he didn't have any significant damage dealt. His fighting potential was still at its limit; this irritated Raxa. She berated herself for missing her main mark, but at least, hopefully, the pain from the bite mark on his neck would distract him a bit.

She can see the stallion is thinking about something for a moment, and she wants to use this to her advantage. However, he was faster, and once again, Raxa made a careless mistake. Her distracted sense allowed the stallion's teeth to break the skin on her rump, which caused the mare to let out a squeal of pain.

Now, it was the stallion's turn to realize his mistake. The fact that he'd aimed for her rump made him vulnerable to a strike by her back hooves. With the speed of a cobra, the mare kicked out, her hooves flashing dangerously as they sped toward the stallion's body.

OOC: The version where you capitalized the first letter of Raxa's name is the one that worked.
