Okay, now this was an interesting turn of events. Hearing Phaedrus' hoof steps moving away, Sirana looked up again. The stallion; wait, what was he doing? Was he abandoning the herd? What was going on here?
The stallion that had come here to probably seek out mares from a herd nipped at a paint mare grazing near the edge of the herd. It was a new one; Wild Hope, she believed the name of the mare was. Then again, Sirana hadn't had the chance to socialize much with her yet. She watched as the stallion drove the mare closer to the herd before suddenly changing directions, now coming for Sirana.
The amber champagne filly, as one would expect, was not entirely pleased with that. When the stallion came and nipped at her hip, Sirana lashed out with her back hooves, trying to drive him away. His attention was soon drawn elsewhere when a bay mare, Vakarian, from the herd, went and spoke to Phaedrus, saying that the matter was unfair of how he'd just given up the herd. Her daughter, Streis, was also by her side.
The unfamiliar stallion went over to the mare and filly, herding them back towards the other mares. Sirana may not have bonded with them closely as of yet, but she would try to defend them from the stallion's treatment.
Sirana looked over at Wild Hope, hoping to calm the mare in case she started to panic a little, "We'll find a way out of this, don't worry. Let's get to the herd; there'll be safety in numbers. Don't worry, that stallion won't get his teeth on you again unless he wants my hooves to knock them out."
