i knew when we collided, you're the one i have decided - who's one of my kind.
The gray blue blushed points of the young women are identical on each. Both were of a deep reddish chestnut with identical misted limbs, hair and muzzles. They moved so in sync that it was like a mare walking beside a mirror.
Their immortality had kept them youthful and fresh, each mare possessing a femine laughter in her throat. Cometissa and Elysi were inseparable as they had taken to their own secret world rather than expand outward. As of late, they chose to venture from the Falls to explore. Now as they walk through the chill of the meadow, walking nearly in step with their heads bowed together as though in prayer. In hushed tones, they discussed the loss of the Deserts, their mother Ygritte, the fact that Beqanna was changing. For a spontaneous game, one sister would shift her points rapidly to a color and the other would follow suit but in a succession (much like Simon says...you know, the old 80's/90's color pattern game?) But just as Elysi had gone from violet purple, to sea green, to butter yellow to repeat her sister...but then the soft crunch of brown leaves catch their attention.
Before the twins is a stallion. Both pairs of blue-gray eyes immediately snap to him as Elysi's color shifts back to her normal hue. Four lobes come forward as he speaks. The young mares look to one another then back to the male with smiles, bright and genuine. "Hello there!" The tone of their voices are a true soprano as they can not help but to speak in unison...a soft chuckle coming from both before Cometissa takes a pace forward as she notices the same blueish tint to the white patches of his coat... "What brings you to the meadow?" As much as the pair would like, they were cut from the same cloth, carbon copies of one another.
