He caught on to her gazing him over, surely he was used to such looks with such amazing horns. It wasn't long that they were in silence, he responded to her comment of Ceremony before falling quiet again. She gently flicked her tail every now and than to remove the insects that bit at her hind quarters. She was sure there conversation was over, but in an effort to continue it she stepped forward.
Apparently it was the correct move, the stallion seemed interested with her movement. He moved his neck, noses almost touching. She could feel his warm breath, a feeling she has had in some time, oh he was good, he pulled her in, wanting to know more. He nipped gently at her muzzle and she just allowed a shallow nicker to part her lips; he introduced himself as Mandan. A strong name for the strong stallion. She was about to speak but was distracted by the stallion who moved his head to trail across her neck, it sent tingles down her spine. The stallion stopped at her wither and he bit down on her, it wasn't hard in aggression yet more of a new stallion proudly selecting his first mare(surely Mandan was not new).
He in fact claimed her, Orange Country shall be your new home he says, a small smile grew on her maw, she had no objections. He nudged her and directed her to his lands, Well Mandan, Lead the way this time her nicker was louder, she playfully dipped her head before moving in the direction he suggested. She certainly never saw herself in a herd, but he seemed fun, and she was getting old.
