The light that shines so bright.
The moment he steps back a protesting sounds escapes her lips. She doesn’t want him to move away, she wants him close, hiding at his side. So she steps forward, neck outstretched and muzzle reaching towards him. Gyps looks at him for a second, before she casts her teary eyes down, ashamed. She tilts her head, causing her navy blue forelock to fall sideward, but it’s still too short to hide her face from his gaze. She doesn’t look at Andras, well, not until his muzzle gently trails across her cheek to brush away the tears.
Its then that she turns her head to look at him again, eyes still watery, but the tears have stopped – for now at least. Slowly a smile starts to spread upon her lips, tugging at the corners and Gyps simply cannot stop it. The tension starts to flow from her body, but she cannot stand to be too far away from him. She has been alone too long already. ”Andras.. I.. Thank you..” She really didn’t know what else to say. So instead she reaches out to him, her lips gently brushing his cheek before she pulls back again.
She doesn’t know what it is that drives her, that tingles in her stomach, but she brushes it off. Probably it was nothing more than the joy to have their friendship mend again. Gyps giggles softly, looking at the horned stallion surprised. The smile is back and youth once again clearly visible in her whole appearance. ”I missed you too. Thank you for coming back..” She pauses, biting down on her lower lip as she glances up to meet Andras’ gaze. ”You’ll stay, right?” The question lingers in the air, her insecurity clearly noticeable.
