    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

    Who cares if hell awaits?
We're having drinks at heaven's gate.

Relief is the expression upon her delicate features to see the painted stallion breach the entrance to the Tundra. Her limbs are moving to guide her in his direction. Creamy tresses carry outward in a lovely flag but before she can call, Vaughan is meeting Aurumn, questioning him like a dutiful soldier.

Maribel catches up just in time to hear the first bit's of the dark stallion's words. With a quick nod in greeting, she offers both stallion a small (almost bashful) smile. She's seen the long eared man around the Tundra, most recently at the kingdom meeting. And so before Aurumn can say two things, Mari interjects. "Oh no, he isn't lost. I met him in the Field and he decided that the Tundra suited him." She falls quiet again with a small, crooked smile on her lips, tossing the fringe of her locks from her brow. At this time, she await to hear what Aurumn may say of what caste he desires but decides to tack onto Vaughan's words. "We also have residents so if you decide no caste suits you that's just fine." The young mare quips brightly with her ever present smile.
