    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

    Take me to chruch

Someone had been yelling at her. Geisha recalled this as she lay on her back, belly up crushing the wailing cat beneath her. It squirmed and wriggled; injured but not yet dead. Damn. "Are you okay?" The sudden voice made her jerk in surprise. The dapple fea rolled to her side trying to get a better look, still a bit too scared to stand-- to let the beast free from her restrains. He stood a few paces away from where she lay. A handsome dappled male with a dark mane with a single horn protruding from his skull. She'd never seen someone like him. "I think so," Geisha managed after catching her breath. "You should see the other guy," a half spoken laugh left her pale kissers in playful mirth, trying to make bright of a bad situation.  Even if the danger wasn't completely gone. Typical Geisha. "I don't think I can get up.." She admitted leaning her shoulder down into the cat in attempts to stop his squirming.

Thundering hoof beats were heard over the earth.

Approaching rapidly, was a brindled mare. Distance seemed to be no challenge for this oddly beautiful lady warrior, crossing over in what seemed to be a few heartbeats. But was probably longer. The blue eyed girl was here, a few paces away now as well when the cat squirmed its way free. Geisha cried out in fear.

She was still laying down and very open to an attack, but the brindled female let out a loud whinny rearing up and lashing out to the cat with her hoof. It didn't make contact but startled the cougar who growled ears pinning back as it swiped the horses forelimb leaving behind a shallow cut. The stranger didn't like this, coming at him again and if not for his fancy footwork would have connected. Geisha watched on in wonder at her bravery. A chase ensued, the horse spooking the over grown house cat into the woods. Geisha snorted. Good riddens!

Such kindness both had displayed by coming over to her rescue when they could have so easily turned a blind eye as the other horses did. Her brindled savior rejoined the duo grumbling something under her breath as she did. "Thank you, both of you."  her voice shook even if she tried to repress it. The dappled mare looked to the dappled male with that impressive horn, and then to the brindled colored female with the pretty eyes as she spoke up. "Did it get you? Any cuts or deep marks?"  "Yea, the lil devil ripped open my rump!" The mare responded with a sound of anger, as she moved to stand.

The movements stung like something feirce. It felt like lines of fire, marring down her back licking deep into the flesh. Once she was standing the horse craned her neck around to gaze upon damage done. A set of seven long claw marks raked down both sides of her lower back to her rump,  three of them deep but all an angry red. Geisha could feel the pulsing of her blood as it welled up and trickled down her pale backside, painting it ruby red.
