    Her voice is cold, is his first thought. He quirks an ear to listen even more carefully; his own stare watching her abysmal eyes bore into him. Those black lips of his instantly melt into a grin as soon as the last bit of silky lyrical tones fall out of her. He steps one step closer, the gap between them comfortable but less than before. His tail slashes and flicks and he ponders what to say. “Chem.” He chuckles, “And I'm curious too – let's be curious together, shall we?” Her raven eyes do not leave him and so his do not leave her, playing the stare down game with ease. “What makes a mare like you come to place like this...” He moves off to the left, starting to stalk a small predatory circle around her, bending the grass to draw said circle around her. He isn't being aggressive, or even reaching out to touch her, despite his desire to do so... He makes a few circles to look her over, cautious of a kick or bite.

    What a warhorse kind of woman... His inner voice mumbles to him as he looks her over.

    Mezanix.” He stops to face her head on, his forelock blocking his eyes from her sight. “You do not belong in this place.
