    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

It was that time of the year again, his mares pregnant carrying his foals and he was ready to expand his herd. Many of his mares disappeared, leaving Beqanna perhaps forever, and he was ready to have his herd grow again. He stood in the field and gazed around, the leaves began to change to a yellow color and the flowers stayed bloomed. Although everything would soon die as winter was upon them, and the equines would stay within there herd/kingdom until the snow melted. Winter surely brought upon a lack of new conversations as all the mares stayed within there homes newly pregnant, and the stags guarded all there mares.

He was expecting two foals this season and hopeful to expand to more foals next season, as well as gain a new friend for the herd. As his head scanned the horizon with plenty of horses, still cooing over each other he stopped at the sight of a beautiful buckskin mare. He was instantly interested, noticing the second mare with an ebony pelt. He was curious to which one did not belong a kingdom yet, as he was sure one was out recruiting. He gave a shrug and bounded over to the two horses allowing a whinny to escape him, he stood a respectful distance between the two when neared.

He dipped his head in respect Hello Ladies, my name is Archam he spoke introducing himself. He easily picked up the smell of the amazon on the black mare, in fact her scent was still lingering in the Falls from a visit she made, that he missed. Curious to how far in there conversation they were, hopeful that the buckskin did not agree to join the amazon May I ask your names? he gave a small smile.
