The warm summer that was ever so loved had finally ebbed way to the orange hued season of Autumn. The leaves now turning color, the land slowly dying, making way for the frosty hold of winter.
Ah, her least favorite seasons.
The black Amazon woman had her dislike for the colder seasons, due to her being a rainforest dwelling creature. It was warm and comfortingly humid in her home all year round, it could be seen during these months , when other horses were developing a nice thick coat, her coat stayed the same short, sleek, and black. Luckily the panther shifter found that her feline form was much more forgiving when it came to dealing with the colder seasons for some reason.
The sun was setting, making more of the orange and reds of the land seem more intense, she had to admit, it was quite a sight, much more of a spectacle for her. Though this time of year was also the most dangerous.
Breeding season...
Naga hated coming to the field this time of year, but of course, she needed to. Our dark girl keeps her guard up as she roams the dying grasses of the field, making sure no sex driven stallions tried to take her by force. Though she was a force herself, she knew if she had to she could easily ward any stallion off with the change of her form and the flash of her claws. She scanned the mass of land carefully, watching the mares in heat and the cocky stallions strutting about, the smell of estrogen was heavy.. Naga's nostrils pulled back, she sneered. She hoped she would at least find one mare not being courted.
Alas, as she strode along, her compact body a dark silhouette in this world of color, a call reached her ears.
Her head shot up, dark tiny pointed ears swiveling to and fro, trying to establish where the call was coming from. Soon, she realized it was out further in the field. She picked up her pace. This was no place for a lone mare this time of year...unless she wanted a foal. The feminist diplomat's green eyes searched, and soon her gaze fell upon a golden mare, dipped in ebony. She looked strong yet delicate. A great candidate for the kingdom.
Naga found her way to the gold woman, she whinnied softly and reassuringly to her. Her deep sultry voice aimed toward the mare, words danced from her dark velveteen lips.
"Good evening. Quite a scene isn't it. Autumn is a very interesting season here. Allow me to introduce myself, I am Naga, diplomat of the Amazon jungle. Might I ask for your name, golden one?"
She is sincere, yet formal, trying to mature a little more. Going on eight now, she is trying her hardest to be a good example for her twin children, of whom are back in the Jungle, doing their own thing.. She hopes this mare would maybe come back with her, especially since this was no time to be in the presence of stallions, unless they were mature enough to contain their sexual urges. Naga was never a fan of stallions, the one she loved left her and their two beautiful twin daughters out of nowhere, so now she has come to resent them...though that was not important right now. Right now she had to focus on her goal. A successful recruit.
