    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

what am I fighting for? birthing, any

all of us have a hero and a villain in us

It was definitely birthing season and a couple of his mares had already birthed this season, he was lucky to have had a filly and a colt with a couple more foals on the way. He found himself more on edge until all the mares of the herd had given birth, he tried to be there for all of them, so that they would have all the support they needed.

Today he was lingering around the herd as it was rather quiet, he supposed the mares were off keeping there foals secured. A familiar scent ran threw his nares, stress, sweat, and foal. A mare must be foaling! He was curious to who it was and as he drew near it was Morigan. Her foal was not his, and the two had only had little conversations with each other, he watched but kept his distance not wanting to step over any boundaries. He watched until the foal hit the ground and the mare cleaned the foal, and Morigan began to scan the area.

Slowly pondering over Archam found himself beside the two, the spotted mare and a black filly with a red mane and tail, surely no one could mistake this for Archams child. "A lovely filly you have Morigan, what is her name? he asked with a gentle tone, lowering his nose to the foal giving a sniff and gently nudging her. He backed up giving the mare and foal space hopeful that he did not overstep his boundaries by touching the foal.
