    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

Yep, and there it was. The trouble that had no doubt been heading her way. Raxa let out a startled snort, rapidly taking a few steps back and stomping her front hoof as she assessed what just happened. She did not like that these two had snuck up on her, even if it was unintentional. The roan mare took in a breath, shaking her neck a few times before deciding to answer the horse that had spoken to her.

"I have no home. Isn't that what most horses come here for?" she quipped. Why would this horse ask such a question? It was common knowledge, even to an outsider like her, that horses without homes would live here in the Field.

It's not like she had anywhere else to go.
