And she'll always get the best of me, the worst is yet to come
All the misery was necessary when we're deep in love
All the misery was necessary when we're deep in love
Everything had its place and everything was in that place, well, almost everything. It is not to be known how Kirin knows the comings and goings of those within his realm. Surely the knowledge can attributed to the plethora of eyes at his disposal, the mass of his own lineage and kin that plagued the sea side palace. Of course, he would never say which eyes were where because truly it’s none of your business. However you should just know….you are always being watched.
This is how the lavender stallion knows the silvered girl is making games of leaving. It’s funny really, that she would ever believe she had a fighting chance to disappear, not unless he allowed it of course. It’s rare though, Kirin letting go of one of his collection so easily, his aunt Kalamity- now that had been one thing. The woman had proved herself impaired and he was truly relieved to be rid of her. Now this, a prize from the Gates raid, surely this token did not think herself so dispensable...not yet at least.
In mere moments he is above her, circling like a great lilac hawk, spiraling down towards the earth and the path on which she progresses. “First of all,” he sighs with feigned exasperation, “you’re going the wrong way, but I’m sure the Mother’s would just love to meet you.” He crests the horizon, gently landing in front of her with practiced grace. It’s not now that he shows lenience, standing tall which was not hard to do, raising his thistle head above her.
“We’ve not met, I’m Kirin, you are…?’ He trails off, leaving her room to speak a name, but only just before he cuts her off.
“Suffice to say, you think you might be leaving. You’ll not.” He assures her, fixing the word not with a pronounced certainty. “At least not until I decide you may go. Now you’re young so perhaps you do not yet have a grasp of understanding on how the world works. That’s okay because I’ll tell you how my world works lovely.”
The grin that spreads against his lips is charming yet undeniably dangerous. She’s sure to learn something, they all did eventually.
