    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

    "Evil requires no reason."
Someone should have probably warned her. Really, it was almost unfair. He ponders all this in the seconds it takes for her to lengthen her nose out to his, the most standard greeting for any horse. It takes him the same amount of time as he stretches his out, seemingly to copy her action but it is with sharp wolf fangs that he grabs onto the very tender part of her nose that she had so willingly trusted to him.

Wouldn't she be so surprised? By now the pain was overwhelming and the blood was almost dripping from his mouth. The metallic taste coated his tongue and he could have smacked his lips in pleasure she tasted so good. He imagined her reaction would be to jerk away from his teeth and so when she tugged (again he assumes) he held on for just a moment longer, until he suddenly released her. His tongue slides across his teeth and he sighs happily. "You taste extraordinary." He says. Those sharp teeth are almost too big to be in his mouth, so his mouth is slightly open, his lips still curled in that wicked smile.

He can smell the magic that tingles in her blood. Some had it more than others. The magic that he owned practically curled around him, visible in its energy. Once it had been so pure, so filled with light and good intentions. Saqr had owned it then, Saqr had been master of it and then, then it had transformed into something other, something darker. Each owner (were they really the owners?) had changed it, until it found its own way, driving some insane.

And thus Pazuzu was here, the evil and conniving bastard that he was. He was the perfect balance and loved causing the pain, but didn't necessary run out to find it. Others had been careless with it, even going so far as to hoard it within themselves to use it for good. Those small bursts of white light in something so dark had been instantly consumed.

His eyes seem to whirl with colors for a moment as he turns his gaze back to her. "Djinni." He says her name, calmly, almost oblivious to her blood that runs down her face, down his teeth and chin. "It is a beautiful name." He says after a moment, another smile, this one more charming than the last. "I am Pazuzu." And here he dips his head ever so slightly, almost mocking.
