    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

Autumn was indeed a peculiar time in Beqanna. Scents filled the air and made everyone heady and careless. They walked about in dazes, stallions floating after obnoxious mares with their rear ends sashaying like royal queens. But Ygritte was not immune to such nature. The young mare had finally grown into her own body, losing the gainliness that adolescents all seemed to and her body filling out it's proportions elegantly. She grew fuller in all the appropriate places, the bay skin slick and taunt over her own quarters.

Ygritte was not foolish as to not know how her body seemed to betray her and give off the first scents of estrus and she did her best to not wander far from the Falls but as of late the population had dwindled and the salmon tinted bay was alone. It seemed as all of those she invited hung around for a few weeks then disappeared. Even Texas seemed occupied lately with the weight of the crown so Ygritte knew that in spite of the fall and what it meant to equines that she must venture to the field in search of others looking for a home.

Honey hued pools immediately find the shine of the red. It was quite hard to look away as she found her legs moving the svelte form towards that of a lone stallion. A small smile graces her feminine features as she nears him, tail clamped as tightly as possible in effort to subdue the beginning of her heat. Ygritte believes she may have to avoid the field in the next few days to come but hopefully she hasn't put herself in danger at this point.

"Hello." Large curious eyes search for the stallions once they were finally taken from his interesting mane. Vocals are soft and velvet smooth when she greets him, rose hued lips parting to make the words. "What brings you to the field?" It was an absolutely silly question because all horses were in the field for a reason but perhaps she could feel out if he was looking for a kingdom or herd. "Oh!" She gives her head a shake seemingly to clear it as she begins to laugh lightly like the tinkle of silver bells. Long lashes fall over those amber pools with a bit of embarrassment as she forgot to introduce herself. Lashes raise as she finds his own gaze, holding it. "I'm Ygritte." The small coy smile blooming across the salmon kissed lips once again.
