    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

Nayl certainly doesn't lack confidence. It has been with her since the day she was born as she paraded around the Jungle knowing what blood pumped through her veins. The Jungle is so deeply embedded in her family's past that she can't deny her inherited arrogance. This is where she belongs and where she needs to be. She is comfortable in her own skin and unafraid to express that. She once paraded around as though she were the heir, but age has settled Nayl and has calmed down her big-headed nature.

Now, she simply walks as any confident Amazon would instead of like a pompous child.

With an interest lying at the border Nayl takes a familiar path alongside the riverbend and toward the feeble hello that breaks free from the monkey chatter. "Yes?" Her voice is silk as she steps out from the foliage to look at the russet girl. "Is there something you need or that you're looking for here?" Nayl's head inclines inquisitively as their eyes meet before she straightens herself. Unable to yet open up without answers she refrains from introducing herself for the time being.
