    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

A new darkness (volcanic village, Mourning mountain)

Oh, he had certainly heard her. Kind of hard not to, the way she cried out-she was asking for it. The lavender stallion caressed the claiming fields with a soft landing. He had perfected that landing, hardly a kick up of dust in his wake, much like a perfect 10 dive. Kirin tucked his feathered wings to his sides, in such a way that was gentle, loving.

"Didn't your Mother ever tell you, be careful what you wish for?" He purrs, a bourbon huskiness to his words. The shine of his hazel gray eyes spoke otherwise, a raging fire within their depths. He wastes no time in giving the girl a sharp bite on her rump, laying his claim to this desperate creature. Well, in her time of need she had asked had she not? Well, now she shall receive.

"You're coming with me,pet." A malicious hint to the word as it fell from his pretty velvet mouth. He knocked his weight into her rear, urging her forward, this here was a claim. "Congratulations honey, your the newest mare of Silver Cove."
