    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

The hold on her body is abruptly dropped and Fazia can almost see how Starbry had fallen after she had released that other mare. Her tense muscles are suddenly loose and she doesn't like how she has to take a step to steady herself with the sudden lack of opposition.

Viper offers a fair piece of advice, and Fazia nods in acknowledgement of the mistake she made. Likely she will need to test that theory a few more times against someone who could crush her before it truly sinks in but she does understand the logic, even if it grates at her a little bit thats she isn't the strongest. She knows she needs to be smart as well as powerful, to know how to handle more formidable foes.

Youth still has such a powerful hold on her. It is easy to be bold and reckless.

She cannot say that she regrets this situation, even though it could have and still might turn on her more drastically.

A little part of her hopes that it does. What else is this scaled mare capable of?

Which makes it rather satisfying to hear the interest is mutual. It takes a great deal of effort for Fazia to not preen right then and there, though she can't help the small, wild grin that lights up her silver-slit eyes (and she'll certainly be thinking about that simple compliment later).

    "Fazia. And you?"
