    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

He does not get an immediate answer, but he craves one - turning around his head though, he catches her staring, but that's not at all what makes him pause. He shouldn't have looked, because now he feels trapped in her eyes - but she's beautiful, and he does it anyway.

It takes a moment, lasting forever, but then she suddenly says something and changes the topic. He nods, his throat suddenly dry, and his voice is barely a whisper, hoarse, when he tries to add in some words. "Yes," he croaks, and scrapes his throat in an attempt to sound normal. "It's magic. Healing water." he says his half-sentences, hoping to distract himself from the confusing feeling and corresponding hormones trying to take a hold of him. He shouldn't... but his body reacts before his mind does, and his nose runs down her neck once, curious about how her wolf shape corresponds to her horse form.
Turn your face towards the sun, let the shadows fall behind
