She’s nervous, but excited as well. It’s only after she’s left her family that she wonders if she should have invited Cali along with her, but that hesitation leaves her quickly. Small white wings adorn her sides when she thinks of her sister, an unconscious tapping of the magic she does not even come close to understanding yet. But as much as she loves her twin - Beyza wants today for herself.
Maybe next time they can go together.
Her white eyes take in Pangea, take in her home, and it is tempting to veer off course and explore through the canyons and see if she can glimpse the monsters that live there. Her parents have assured her that they are safe from any attacks but in the same breath encouraged her not to bother the creatures. This combination of information has only heightened her curiosity about them.
Small white hooves continue in the path she had been going. To the spot where Anaxarete had told her they could meet - to where her lessons could begin. Beyza’s whole body feels like it’s humming with excitement and there’s a charge in the air around her as a result, causing her feathers and hair to stand up just slightly with it. She hasn’t learned how to control it yet, these things that happen when she’s happy or excited, but that is the point of these lessons - right?
