She goes to Island Resort first, and if she had to decide why, she supposes it is because it is the furthest location, and it would make sense to go there and work her way backwards. The image that the fairy procured is still fresh in her mind, and for once the star-dappled mare does not pay any heed to those that she passes. She slips through Tephra, seemingly unnoticed, before sliding into the warm waters that would take her to Island Resort.
The waves ease into sandy shores, and she does not bother to shake the water from her as she emerges from the sea. Dripping in salt water, she stalks the shoreline, searching for a place where the pale sands gradually turn into a coast that is rockier and less forgiving. Here is where she finds a gathering of tide pools, and begins her methodical search. She steps slowly, carefully, ignoring the starfish and other creatures that waver beneath the surface of the water. The clouds up above shift, causing the sunlight to catch a fragment of something that glitters more fiercely than the water.
With a flare of delight, she collects the geode piece in her mouth, but before making her way to the shoreline that would take her back to Tephra,, she goes to the greenery that grows away from the beach. Selecting a broad, flat leaf, she pulls it away from the plant, and lays it on the ground. Placing the geode in its center, she carefully gathers both ends, and with the first needed piece hammocked within the leaf, she sets off again for the sea.

QOTY
"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura
