animal companion

Per Kyra's direction to post this here - what would the trait space be at having an animal companion? I realize this is a weird situation, because Qatar had a empathic link to a companion - so would he have to earn both empathy and a companion?

Second question - what if we want different traits than we previously had? Or something fits our character better? When we earn the points, can we trade in for something different? I'm assuming the 4 space traits are going to be seriously limited, otherwise there would be magicians and demons and angels running around rampant again, right?

Also, natural armor formation isn't in the database

1) I'd think we'd count it the same as an empath - with 2 spaces, since "companion" isn't in the DB. If you wanted to use it in battle, etc. we may have to change it.

2) Point system is for regaining old traits. New traits can be earned/gained the same way they were prior to the change.
