The two made the travel from the field to his home, the cobblestone creek. It took a while, the sun was now fully in the sky and beating down on there backs with little relief. There walk was rather silent, not an awkward silent but one where they can take in the surroundings in peace. A small smile grew on his face once they reached the border of the cobblestone This is it he said in a cheery voice.

He was always overwhelmed with joy when bringing a new mare to the herd lands, he was full of pride for the herd, a beautiful sanctuary for his mares to enjoy life. Free to do as the please so long as they returned at night. They continued walking until they hit the heart of the lands, stopping in front of the creek. It stretched all the way to the kingdoms waterfall, trees scattered everywhere providing the perfect relief from the suns harsh heat. I hope you will enjoy the herd lands as much as everyone else He smiled gently, extending his neck to nuzzle her shoulder.

His head scanned the area, listening to see if any others were around. His attention flicked back to Aune as he remembered the kingdom we are in the Falls kingdoms lands, you are free to be a member of the kingdom if you please. There are two castes to chose from, a warrior and the diplomats. Do not feel inclined to take part if you don't want to he spoke smiled with hope to not have pressured her into doing something she didn't want to. He looked for her reaction, curious to how she felt about everything he just blurted out.

At first Aune couldn't speak she was too overcome by how beautiful his lands where. Oh, Archam She breathed, turning her head slightly to nuzzle him back. This was the only way she could fully express her gratitude on him welcoming her into his herd. This truly is a beautiful place and i know that I will love it here

As the buzz of the beauty of this land settled on her she heard  the echo of his words. When will I have to choose what caste I wish to be She asked him. Her dark eyes probing him as she straightened herself up.

His gaze was on the mare, to his relief she seemed pleased with the lands. A grin grew on his face, happy that another mare was content, no regrets with her decision. He gave a small dip of his head to her as she spoke I am glad you like it Aside from his protection his lands was all he could offer to his mares, well that and foals.

She gave a pause, scanning the area speaking only to ask about the castes in the kingdom. He was pleased that another one of his mares was interested in joining a caste for the kingdom. There is no time frame, you can join whenever you want. I will have to escort you to the kingdom there you can talk to the king and queen about which caste you want to join. He spoke gently, the king and queen were both nice. They would be pleased to welcome another equine to join there castes,strengthening the kingdom.

She tensed when he spoke of the king and queen. Being so relaxed before then and since the big stallion was so close to her she wondered if he could feel the tension dancing across her dark coat like spindly spiders.

She wasn't a fighter. The dark mare had always preferred peace over war.

She averted her cloudy eyes from his lighter ones, quickly turning to gaze across the darkening land below. Must I join a caste She whispered. Not daring to look at the stallion. Am I not welcome in your lands if I don't

The slender mare tensed and he gazed at her, curious to why. She looked deep in her own thoughts, moments had passed in silence. He opened his mouth to interupt but she beat him to the punch, she questioned if she needed to join a caste, and if she wasn't welcome if she didn't. He gave a hearty laugh, not at her, but at her innocence.

no you are welcome on my lands, you will not need to worry about joining a caste. He moved his body closer, now touching hers. The kingdom will find it weird that you are there, but shouldn't have an issue he has never had his mares venture into the kingdom without being a part of the caste, but they would clearly smell of him and he doesn't see Ygritte or Kreios being overly upset with them being there.

No, no I wouldn't want that Aune said firmly. Ignoring the feeling that danced within her when he become close to her. I'd prefer to join a caste 

The dark mare wouldn't like to be seen as odd to the other mares due to her not being in a caste. She was willing to put aside her feelings. She wanted to be accepted into the herd and if joiming a caste was normal for new mares then she would do it. She didn't want mares to think of her as odd.

She turned to him, smiling to show that she was willing to do that.

The seal bay mare was quick to respond, she announced that she did in fact want to join a caste. He gave a small dip of his head in acknowledgment as you wish he spoke softly. It was not mandatory to be in a caste, in fact it wasn't mandatory to even be affiliated with the kingdom. Although she desired to be a part of the kingdom, Archam would grant her wish. I will bring you with me to the kingdom, the next time I go, hopefully the king and queen will be free. he nuzzled her shoulder one last time before departing further into the herd land.s
