So with such a threat placed on his priceless derriere Philip resided to the fact that he would not be returning home. Even though Philip knew that his absence would leave his fathers in dismay he also knew that his other siblings would keep them at bay- well- keep them at bay long enough for Philip to cross the borders. The journey from his home to Beqanna was not arduous; in fact, it proved itself to be quite easy. Had he known that the notorious land was so close he would have come sooner. Beqanna secured itself in Philip’s faint memories after his parents spoke of its scary fairy magic and world shattering natural events.
When Philip crossed into Beqanna he could instantly feel the radiating energy of the world pass through him. Everything appeared to have a slight gleam to it. As if a multitude of glitter faeries exploded over the land. Philip huffed and proceeded to swish his cheeks to the left side of his face in a gnarled grin. ”This will not do” He whispered to his dull physique. The young colt was dressed in his usual attire, a natural red roan coat, and such an attire was not appropriate for a momentous day. With a swish of his tail an assortment of colors crept up Philips body until he was swirled in a rainbow of red, blues, oranges, and greens. ”Better” He mumbled with a smile. And then he was off to explore.
Philip’s hooves propelled his body upward in a graceful yet awkward skip. Tiny wings grew from his shoulders and fluttered whenever he reached the peak of his arch. Not a single thought of rulers, boundaries, or fear ever came to him until…
