    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

The world was dark, then it was bright.
One moment she was in a jelly configuration of bumping and bouncing and a whole lot of nothingness - the next? Forced into the real world, expelled. Alive, crying, ready to feel it all.

When she looked down at herself she saw not the mirror image of her mother but something else. Where her mother was the color of the sun, she was the color of the moon - a smokey black. But more discerning were the scales that walked their way up her legs. She didn't know it now but they were snake scales.
And like most children, she didn't know what else lurked behind those large eyes.

(open to any, she has "pestilence" so play as you' like!)
