ew I hate starters :|
Burning on, just like a match you strike to incinerate the lives of everyone you know.
And what's the worst you take from every heart you break? And like
the blade you stain, well, I've been holding on tonight.
Michaelis was enjoying his chance at enjoying the daylight for once. It had been stormy since the morning which meant relatively heavy cloud cover that gave the sun’s rays a difficult time at penetration. His mismatched eyes were not being abused like they normally were. The shadow child was never bothered overly much by these dreary days as they oftentimes led to opportunities such as these.
Besides if the rain became too much, he has figured out a nifty way of mentally staving off the raindrops from even touching his body. He wandered through the clearing without too much trouble. It seems that the weather had discouraged the majority of the population from venturing out to the meadow.
What little sunlight that ventured through the holes of the clouds was blocked by the impromptu visor he had centered around his eyes to prevent them from aching. He had become quite adept at this little trick. But, of course, it would not work when the sun was at its fullest as there wasn’t too many shadow tendrils to pull from out in the open such as this.
He spots a colorful mare not far from himself and he is intrigued enough by the horns jutting from her face to leisurely approach her. Michaelis does so enjoy anything that could be considered out of the ordinary. One could call it a small obsession. He approaches her from the front so he would not startle her. He quietly halts a couple feet away from her and utters a friendly greeting.
“Hello.”
