    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

    ABRUS
Beqanna is settling on Abrus, or perhaps he is just warming up to it. There is deep magic here, history he can't ever hope to understand. And he's not sure he wants to, it's far more interesting to observe the pieces he sees in the faces and the trauma of those born here. See how parents and grandparents and generations uncountable shape the minds of those walking around now. And, fascinating enough still, the generations alive are mixed. Ancients and fresh souls alike.

The curiosity he feels is new and welcome, a feeling like he has finally recovered from the trip that brought him here. And he's now looking to find out if there is any reason worth staying.

He is wandering through the woods of the Chamber, white eyes glowing as he borrows his companion's sight while they soar ahead, weaving through the branches of the pines.

They are looking for Iliana. She's one of the few he knows by name and hunting for her feels like more of a challenge than anyone else would be — he gets the feeling that if she did not wish to be found, she wouldn't be. Oh, he could use his magic, have the ground tell him where paws or hooves land and step through a tree to appear there in a moment. But he's in no rush and the chase was half the fun.
