[complete] 3-Space Upgrade Quest

Deiti has spent the last two RL weeks chained to the waters by her gills and is petitioning to quest for her Kelpie Mimicry to upgrade to Equus Kelpus.

First petition with 10 linked posts here.  All posts use her Kelpie Mimicry characteristics of Enhanced Beauty, Finned Tail(in water), and Sharp Teeth.

[Cloud Fairy]

This time, when Deiti returns to the Mountain clouds begin to coalesce on the slopes around her. They are a mix of storm-grey and bright, pink-white - a duality that the Cloud Fairy senses exists within the petitioning mare.

The fairy is revealed in glimpses, observing the stranger with a peaceful calm. Judging, deciding, the silence stretches for a time before she nods. “You need balance, child. Before your request can be granted, show us that you are at least attempting to reconcile the two parts of yourself.”

Deiti has been granted a quest. She must have 2 threads on land where she tries to act as the creature/kelpie inside her might, and 2 threads in the water where she tries to act as herself. For the duration of this quest, Deiti will only have sharp teeth and enhanced beauty while on land.

Deiti returns to the mountain but does not find the magic she is seeking... yet. She is so close.

Hi Neo! The threads listed do not meet the requirement for the quest just yet. I'd like to see another land one meet the request since the one with Everclear hasn't had the chance to progress to the point where Deiti's kelpie personality can to show up. Additionally, since the quest asked specifically for 4 threads (not posts), we would normally like to see more posts in each thread to reflect the effort appropriate for such a large trait upgrade. These things are designed to take some time to complete, as exciting as it is to be so close to getting a new trait.

But - seeing as how Beqanna's activity is a little low at the moment - we will just ask that you give all threads at least a month of no reply from Deiti's last post in them before returning to call the quest completed.

*Deiti would LOVE an IC fairy bit of her murdery Kelpie-like behavior being tied to lunar events, specifically new moon/lunar eclipse.

No Problem!  The two open threads went unreplied for a month 4-18 to 5-18.  Her threads with EverClear and Eddie have been completed.  I imagine her trait upgrade will give her more control over the darker parts of the Kelpie behaviors and them being linked to the lunar events.  To give her some *balance*

The mixture of clouds surround Deiti once again, still those churning opposing colours. There's still so much balance needed from this mare, but the mountain and fairies can only ask so much - or the quests would never end. The Cloud Fairy is satisfied to see some attempts, anyway. That is already so much more than others offer. The clouds swirl around Deiti and though she may be unsure of whether anything happened - the next time she enters water will reveal her new power.

Congratulations, Deiti has received her upgrade to Equus Kelpus! Please post in updates to have this change added to the database.

You're welcome to tie/play her behaviour as being influenced by the moon but I couldn't see why the fairy would care one way or another so that bit is completely up to you!
