Beyza
It is a kind thing, what Ledger offers, but Beyza knows immediately she will not take him up on it. Not because they had just met - but both because she does not want to leave the islands (and her daughters) and because there is a far easier way for her to get answers.
Well, maybe not easier. It still requires energy from her but it feels easier.
“I appreciate the offer but it is… unnecessary.” She is not sure that is the right word to use so she fumbles over it a little. To make up for it, Beyza puts some effort into making her expression as warm as possible as a swan crafted completely out of white light appears on her back. She watches Ledger instead of turning her head to see the swan take off, heading towards that far eastern mountain range where it will find Ryatah and see how the pieces of her family that exist there are fairing. When her magic will not allow her to invade the minds of others without their permission, sending a messenger is a far easier tactic. The swan can provide her eyes to look through as it scopes out that mountainous kingdom.
And depending on what it finds, Beyza will know whether it is worth leaving her daughters and these islands unprotected while she goes to Hyaline.
Still, it had been a kind offer. And though there’s a small glimmer of amusement in her pale gaze, she does not linger on it. “Perhaps a tour of the islands instead?”
