He earns another friend for life when he angles his head so she might explore a little farther. She obliges happily in her curiosity. She wonders how large they will grow, even when he answers her about his mom. She wonders how big his mom’s were and perhaps one day would find her way to meet this lady. Just to indulge in the curiosity of how large her antlers were. Had Pteron said his thoughts out loud about them she would have disagreed as well. She was not a fighter, not in the typical sense.
