Lavendel

"I can assure you it IS quite magnificent year round." She speaks her eyes wandering over the mare for a moment. 

"Ilma is a pretty name." Lamb adds with a bob of her head. They stay in silence for a while, the girl enjoying the time to be warmed by the sun. The temperature was always cooler in Sylva due to it's thick canopy, and visits into the sun warmed her instantly. "Do you live around here Ilma? I live in Sylva, not too far from here." It was far, but not to her. She had walked so much in the past few months that nothing in Beqanna seemed to far away anymore. She supposed that the winged mare might feel the same. 

This prompted a thought in the still childlike imagination she possessed. Was flight quicker than walking? Once more she supposed it was. She made a mental note to ask Sabra about that later. It was such a beautiful thing Beqanna had blessed them with. The power to be different. The girl didn't know, but her father (whom she had never met) had been different himself. He had lived one hundred lives and she just happened to be a small part of one of them. Unbeknownst to her, she was different too, but not in the expressed way that Ilma just so happened to be. She hoped that all of Beqanna's special children knew how loved they had to be to receive such gifts. Even the children of the land who weren't abstract were loved and had something special about them, most just didn't see it (or try and look!).
