Elora was tired of playing with only her two dads or whatever weird concoction of a friend Sahm was able to magically assemble. The young filly had grown significantly throughout the year and slowly her body was filling in her adult curves. Elora still felt very much like a baby. Her dads had spoiled her in every way possible. They saw Elora as a newborn. She was their precious, baby girl and no matter the amount of passing time she would always remain as such.
Luckily on this particular day Sahm and Newton decided to wander off on their own for some type of romantic date. Elora found it to be quite silly since her two dads already spent every moment together- but alas it was good for her since she was able to sneak away from Tephra. Elora had been to the meadow once in her youth. She could barely remember the place, and as she trotted into its borders it resembled nothing like her memory. Her previous visit had been directly after the upheaval. Now the dust had settled and the meadow was defined by what it was once before the changes. The horses cluttering the field appeared much happier in their conversations.
Elora weaved her small body throughout the crowd. She hadn’t fully realized how young she still was until she was comparing her body to those already fully grown. She felt a giant glob of spit form in her throat and with an audible gulp she swallowed it. Maybe she’d meet someone nice or so she hoped.
