Ori could have done a lot of things; bring Eurwen down from the Mountain and have her heal, or perhaps find someone else to support the spotted mare; certainly not did she expect her to go all the way with her. But she did. She did, and so now they’re here, still unkempt Eurwen and her new friend, a daughter of someone else she once knew to go to lengths to save another - but she thinks Ori has heard quite enough about her mother, and this realization is best saved for later.
She’s no longer dirty; still, her fur and mane don’t shine, but her eyes hold something of the deep dark depths that they once did. She wouldn't say she is wiser through life experience since she last saw Nerine - there hadn’t been much life to experience. But there had been other memories made, and she learned from those. That’s the important part, she thinks.
She doesn’t know what Heartfire will think of her, coming home like this. What Brazen will think. But honestly… honestly she just wants to go home, and she is too tired care about what other people think if they see her.
