He was running from her when he came into view, a rare and rich laugh in his throat. She was the only one that was capable of making him laugh or wiping that stern look from his face. He actually acted like a kid around her, his wings flapping at his sides and his chest heaving as he galloped as fast as he could. His red hair flared out like fiery tall grasses, still young and short but growing out.

He was so consumed in their play, riding the high their chase gave him, that he even kept that bright grin when he saw Corban, recognized him after another moment. His brows drew down in determination, doubling his efforts to run straight for the boy and push his legs to pump harder.

Just before he could barrel into him, he dodged to the side, only brushing his shoulder against Corban's and continued with a wild laugh. "Hahaha! RUN!" He shot out and nipped at the boy's flank to spur him to move. "Don't let her catch you!"
