    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

    to be at peace

With the utmost gentlemanly stature, a stallion that is as dark as she (but much less refined in form or coat) slithers sidles right up close to her and offers her a lovely little drink from the very same stream she could have easily cracked open herself.

An orange eye swallows him up rather liberally as she allows her attention to loll over him without any rush, looking for even the slightest hint of uncomfortable shift in features or frame. Hohotep does not offer her voice just yet so instead she lifts her challenging eye away to dip the velvet lips to the cold water. After a few moments, the dark silk of her skull lifts to meet the male's gaze except now a smile is tugging at the edges of her lips and the orange of her eyes burn like hell-fire embers. "Hohotep." The tones ring clear with simple enunciation of her name.

"Are you always so formal, Gunsynd? Always a gentleman?" Hohotep eyes him again coyly like she has a secret to share but is waiting to the right moment to indulge her company. The taper of her muzzle drifts towards him curiously, tilting ever so slightly as both ears are trained to him. The heavy male is unusual to her and quite a curious thing and for now, he provided a bit of a fun distraction for the rapid changes that was Beqanna, burning down around them like an house engulfed in flames.
