SylvaTerritory of LoessLocated just north of the Mountain on a swatch of flat land is a forest. Very little light reaches the ground in this densely forested land. The trees here are of all deciduous types with a large number of beech, walnut, and hickory. Regardless of the season, the leaves in these woods remain perpetually autumn-colored – ranging from deep red to the palest yellow.
