Had there been any question about her ability to re-shape herself, it became very clear very fast that her tongue was not the only thing that could stretch. He wonders then, if it also works the opposite way, could she shrink parts of herself as well? It is a question burning on his lips, on the tip of his... tongue... but she draws his attention with a question that reverts the attention right onto himself.
He never had any problems with being the center of attention.
The dragon-mimicker shows his pointy-toothed grin; he’s quite certain she will find out the extent of his mouth is not limited to that, but all in due time. All in due time. ”Oh, lot’s of things. My tongue may not be as talented as yours,” he admits to not being able to wrap it around her or elongate it as he’d please to do, maybe right about now, maybe a little later, maybe not - ”I have, however, other abilities.” And it’s not just biting that he can do. He wonders how fond she is of extreme temperatures.
If he looked back objectively, perhaps later on, he might think they were both edging closer to the brink of a crazy death rather than the weird high of near-seduction, near-threat they’re both riding now. But perhaps the idea of pain and experiencing death once again, is just the kind of thrill he seeks.
