    Hi All,

    We have noticed we've missed some traits as we've been updating to the new 6-space system. Here we'll post any new changes as they are made. If you notice any that seem incorrect, please let us know!

    Update to vision manipulation definition: Ability to manipulate the vision of yourself and others, including removing/giving, altering, and seeing what others have seen. You can only manipulate the vision of those in your line of sight or those who have agreed to form a bond with you. Use of this trait requires player permission, and other senses including smell and sound are not included.

    Empathy definition: Ability to read and replicate others’ emotions, moods and temperaments, but not specific thoughts or words. Includes the ability to share emotions with others, either by augmenting shared emotions or forcing new emotions onto others

    Telepathy, now 3 spaces with updated definition: The ability to read others’ thoughts and to transmit one’s thoughts to others. Does not include the ability to sense emotion or mood.

    Horn definition: Any type of horns/antlers, from a traditional unicorn horn to rams horns or deer antlers. Horns are limited to horns on the head of the horse only. Profiles and TEGs should list the specific type of horn a character has.
    *Note: anyone who has joined with something other than this may keep what they have joined with.

    Avian Shifting has been changed to a 4 space trait (as it includes the ability to shift into mythical birds).

    For clarity, the name of the original shadow wings has been changed to cursed wings. If you had the original shadow wings, the database has been updated to reflect the new name of cursed wings instead. If you want the new shadow wings instead, please post in updates.

    The following definitions for wings have been added/updated in the database:

    Blessed Wings: Light-based wings that in their default state are insubstantial wisps. The more good deeds a character does, the more real the wings become until the horse can fly with them. The more bad deeds a character does, the more wisp-like the wings become until they fully disappear.

    Cursed Wings: Shadowy wings that in their default state are insubstantial wisps. The more evil deeds a character does, the more real the wings become until the horse can fly with them. The more good deeds a character does, the more shadow-like the wings become until they fully disappear.

    Shadow Wings: Ability to create working wings out of shadow for self. Wings work best at night or in dark areas. In bright light or during the daytime, wings will be weaker and user will not be able to sustain flight.

    Sunlight Wings: Ability to create working wings out of sunlight for self. Wings work best during the day or in bright areas. In darkness or during the nighttime, wings will be weaker and user will not be able to sustain flight.

    Dragon scales updated definition: Horse has dragon scales instead of hair, the same color as their coat should be. These are nearly impenetrable to any form of puncturing except on the underbelly, where the scales are much less dense and can be penetrated, but not as easily as skin.

    Scales are nearly impenetrable instead of fully impenetrable. Only particularly strong things, such as diamond, ice if you are fire dragon (or fire if you are an ice dragon), etc. would be able to penetrate the scales anywhere other than on the underbelly.

    New traits being added to the Database:

    Werewolf Mimicry: User can use the abilities of a werewolf, including:  sharp teeth, claws, enhanced senses, super speed, super strength, self healing, wolfish appearance, etc. Character may have up to 3 characteristics. If there is a fitting characteristic not listed, feel free to contact an owner or officer - 3 space

    Crustacean Mimicry: User can use the abilities of a crustacean, including: possessing a hard exoskeleton on parts or all of the body, having extra limbs, gills, having a crustacean type tail, having antenna, ability to breathe underwater, etc. Character may have up to 3 characteristics. If there is a fitting characteristic not listed, feel free to contact an owner or officer - 1 space

    Feline Shifting: Ability to shift into any kind of Feline species existing in the past or present, including extinct species (Sabertooth, American Lion, Etc) and mythical species that are primarily feline. - 4 space

    New trait added to the Database:

    Extinct Animal Shifting (3 space) - Named as ____-shifting, this is the ability to shift into a single natural but extinct species. This can also include shifting parts of the body (eyes, tail, coat patterns, etc.). Natural form is equid.

    **AS OF 5/31/21**

    we are making some changes to the angel and corresponding demon traits. the changes will be that the 4-spaces (angel, angel shifting, demon morphing) will all have to choose specific traits they can use (previously, angel shifting did not have to choose). the 5-spaces (archangel, demon) can use any of the traits listed in their respective definitions (previously, archangel was written weirdly and demon did not have to choose). hopefully this helps clarify things!

    Angel (4): A radiant angel form which consists of wings, halo, and an aura. The character's normal appearance is of a white and/or gold coloration, and angels are stronger than the average horse. User has the powers typical of an angel, including: phasing, teleportation, healing, empathy, self-sustenance, and temporal manipulation. Player may pick traits that add up to 4 spaces and use only those traits. If there is a fitting trait not listed, feel free to contact an owner or officer.

    Angel shifting (4): Ability to shift into an angel. When in angel form, the horse has an angelic appearance (wings and halo), and can use the abilities of an angel, listed in the angel definition. Player may pick traits that add up to 4 spaces and use only those traits. If there is a fitting trait not listed, feel free to contact an owner or officer.

    Archangel (5): A radiant angel form which consists of wings, halo, and an aura. Archangels will emit a bright, blinding light when using any of their powers. The characters normal appearance is of a white and/or gold coloration, and are stronger than the average horse. User has the powers typical of an angel (listed in the angel definition), but can additionally use the following powers: astral projection, resurrection, soul summoning, power augmentation, and temporal manipulation. If there is a fitting trait not listed, feel free to contact an owner or officer.

    Demon Morphing (4): Ability to shift into a specific demon, and harness the powers of that demon. Player may pick traits that add up to 4 spaces and only use those traits.

    Demon (5): Users are solid black, have scales instead of fur, have two-four horns, no mane, a forked tail, a black forked tongue, bat wings, and fangs, and eye color of their choice. Natural markings resemble burn scars on the users body (non-painful). Users also have a visible glowing red aura and exhibit a small aura of fear that may only affect weak-willed horses. In addition, users are slightly faster than the average horse and are able to wield powers from the underworld, which include: possession, darkness manipulation, disease manipulation, disintegration, magic immunity, hypnotism, self-detonation and reformation, fire mimicry, fire breathing, self-healing, single animal shifting, telekinesis, wound transferal, elemental immunity (to one specific element), invisibility, rage induction, elasticity, and telepathy. If there is a fitting trait not listed, feel free to contact an owner or officer.

    more updates to demon traits - the definition of demon has been slightly altered and changed into the definition for archdemon, and we have created a 4-space demon that corresponds with the 4-space angel trait. the definitions are largely similar, but for demon (4) we took out disease manipulation, magic immunity, hypnotism, self detonation & reformation, fire mimicry, fire breathing, invisibility, and elasticity, most of which can be found in archdemon.

    if your character already has demon, please post an update letting us know if you want to switch to archdemon. if you don't, they will remain a demon.

    please give us a quick break and wait a few days if you have questions/complaints before bringing them to us officers and owners, unless it is urgent. thank you!
