She is exhausted. 
For the last year, her maturing body had been infected trough and trough with sickness. Her coat was ragged and patchy; a knock-off copy of her beautiful, antlered mother she used to so closely resemble. There is no crest above her neck or fullness to her hips, but worst of all she feels like shit. always. 

She had grown used to it though, learned to cope with her blood boiling every night and adapted to the fact that the sun would always hurt her eyes. 
  
But she is tired of always asking Raul for help, continuously draining him of his disease suppression just to make her body stop complaining for a few hours. She is a burden on The Sanctuary when she was born to be their defender. 

These are the thoughts which clamor for attention is her mind as the young mare stands on the shore of the cove. Her restlessness manifests itself in the weigh her weight is continually shifting from one foot to the other, and how her thin tail never seems to stop swatting at her sides. She had stopped seeing the beauty of the cove a long time ago; the way the shimmering light plays on the waves, painting her nocturnal life ghostly and silver in her memories, had lost its charm. 

Warlight doesn't know what options she has, all the healers who had touched her had only suppressed her symptoms, but she knows it can't go on like this. She was little more than a phantom with a cough, and that's not who she wanted to be.
