I'll lure you like a landslide - Alanis - 09-05-2021
open to any! RE: I'll lure you like a landslide - Bayun - 09-05-2021 Bayun's gold coat, though thick and fluffy, still gleamed as he trotted through the trees. It was a quiet day, but cold days like this were always quiet. And he loved it, he held his head high, breathing in the icy air and blowing out warm air little puffs. As the path opened up he sped into a canter, his mane and tail were flowing behind him and the purple crocus' intertwined in his hair seemed to float. He slowed as the river approached and stopped with a few small bounces in front of the icy water. He lowered his head, blowing hard on the water and receiving a cold spray in return. He laughed to himself and spun to the side, cantering alongside the river. He loved the freedom of being young, of being able to go wherever and do whatever he wanted. It meant he could be alone with the beautiful small things of nature that he loved so much. He couldn't wait for spring to come again. But winter was beautiful too, the way everything took an ethereal sparkle and the silence of cold days. Bayun loved it all. Well except for other horses. Being around others gave him a nervous terror, he wasn't sure why. He usually braved it, his mind taking over his trembling body. But he very much preferred being alone. He had never been close with any other horse, perhaps that was why? Maybe it was because he had never had a friend larger than a rabbit? Whatever it was, the nervous feeling began to erupt in his stomach, as his flared nostrils caught the scent of another horse. He slowed, and turned direction, heading for the trees, hoping to hide himself until the other horse passed. The hard beating of his heart and the cold air caused him to stumble as he attempted to escape the oncoming horse. He let out snort as he slipped to the ground. He scrambled to his feet, his mind taking over as he realized how stupid his actions were. Why was he hiding? Its not like they will hurt me! Bayun argued with himself. He let out a short breath and resorted to standing awkwardly, waiting for the other equine to appear. @Alanis Hope this is okay |
