I've got a draft of Terne's image. Want an opinion please!
What is the trick to these boards. When I use the toolbar at the top of the text input box the buttons don't really do anything. I have to enter into full screen mode to get say the image insert button to do anything and then I get the above result, also using the [*img]http[*/img] doesn't work. So here is the link....

PS The effect just isn't the same without seeing the final background behind it but [shrug]

i really like it!
the issue with the image not appearing might have to do with it being hosted in google drive? keep in mind that i'm not especially technologically proficient, but i thiiink the image itself has to be hosted for the forum board's coding to work properly.

Kahzie's right. You need a direct image link in order to use the img tags. My favorite free photo hosting site is nickpic.host - but you can google and there are many.
Also, just as a side note, the buttons on that thing are finicky. JavaScript likes to conflict with itself, which is awesome. I suggest generally using html/css over the mybb mycode, but mycode *should* work.
