We all want to go to heaven, But none of us want to die; Nazariy. - Alvorr - 01-29-2019

Alvorr enters the familiar scene of rolling hills and sweet hot air rushing toward him.
He dances across the terrain slowly, enjoying the serenity of solitude for the moment, a rather delicate moment to relish in.
The spotted stallion's eyes capered over the vast land full of thick mist that had arrived at the sun's first light, his smile rises as he inhales it all, his expression lighting up as the thick air drifts into his spaced lungs.
Alvorr exhaled slowly, consuming the sweet taste as it departs from his muzzle.

Today felt like it was going to be different, something about the deathly quiet caused him to stir, moving now at a trot as he allows his gait to open, stretching his tensed muscles as he moved.
The past couple of weeks had been quite tough, there weren't really many horses around in the field anymore, most of them had gone into hiding due to the plague.
A hideous disease that gripped Beqanna, strangling it without release.
He had been alone for quite some time now, usually finding his own way around things, creating opportunities, dismissing the chance to speak to new strangers.
But now things were a lot more different, he had met a rather timid male that he now called his friend, something that was quite unusual for him to do, but the word still remained on his mind. Friend. What a weird thing to allocate to someone, keeping the responsibility of socialising with them, keeping promises, vowing to never break them. Enjoying their company.
Alvorr was open to this change though, Nazariy was going to be the first person he would allow into his life, letting him peer into the mysterious world of weird pasts and disturbing memories.

But first, he would have to find Nazariy, a task that sounded much easier than it was.
His scent still lingers here, perhaps from their first meeting, when they decided to explore new lands, conquer expanses of mass to call their own.
A silly dream in reality.
The stallion calls out, trying to see if Nazariy was maybe hidden away, seeing as he was quite shy "Hey, Naz?" he said loudly, his voice rising above the caws of crows as they both crossed paths "Are you out here, friend?" his eyes keep looking toward the thick formations of trees and shrubs, maybe he was hiding in there?

He wanders over to check anyway, he didn't know where people liked to hide, only that they were good at it, especially when he was around in his homeland.
He calls out once again, this time in a softer tone, his hope to find him slowly dwindling as he walks around aimlessly, his legs following him placidly.

" darling. we're slow dancing in a burning room. "

RE: We all want to go to heaven, But none of us want to die; Nazariy. - Nazariy - 02-25-2019

As the world unfurled before him, Nazariy was dogged by the knowledge that the world was so much... more. Every location was new information; new scents, new lights, the feeling of the world slightly shifted. He feared, but he also learned to love the world around him.

But it was best when he was with Alvorr. Without Alvorr, the world was frightening, and the amount of knowledge that came at every moment threatened to drown him. The world was empty, too- of a plague he didn't know, but he didn't know any different.

Alvorr was everything that Nazariy wanted the world to be. He was smart and funny, and he made Nazariy feel as though maybe, just maybe, he wasn't stupid.

There was also the issue of Nazariy's nothing. Nothing: the word that haunted every moment and every dream. Nothing: the word that meant absence. The absence of home, of self, of family. Alvorr was all he had.

But Nazariy knew that he couldn't live like that forever. He respected Alvorr too much- he hoped Alvorr wouldn't run, or think him stupid. The idea that Nazariy could just be nothing.

The scent of Alvorr met Nazariy's nostrils, faint and reminding him vaguely of honey, something he'd managed to taste a few days ago. His ear twitched at the sound of his own name. Hey, Naz? came the name, so soft and warm in his friend's mouth. He slowly made his way forward, knowing that the truth was coming with it.

He was near Alvorr when the stallion came into view and Nazariy paused, fear entering his chest like a rosethorn. The other horse was looking for him. Looking for him. The words were warm in his chest, but tinged with suspense.

When it seemed Alvorr was looking with less hope, Nazariy finally stepped behind Alvorr. "Hey there," he said, hoping he sounded friendly "Sorry, I didn't want a bear to get me."

Alvorr wasn't particularly expecting a horse to sneak up on him from behind, a voice causing him to almost fall over, his breathing suddenly exaggerated as he turns "Naz! You don't want me to keel over now do you?" his voice is surprised at first but reaches a humorous tone by the end.
"Yes hello, hello" he replies to him, his breathing now calming down "It's so great to see you again, you sure do know how to disappear" he laughs as he meets Nazariy, gently motioning his nose toward the male's shoulder in an early greeting, a smile already painted across his face, happy to see his friend again, someone he could call his companion.

Nazariy mentions bears, Alvorr keeping still for a moment before bursting out in laughter "Bears? bears!? There's hardly any out here bud! To be honest, you would probably be safer with a bear!" he laughs loudly, his head resuming a tilt as he looks toward his friend.

"I'm glad to have found you Naz, it was getting quite lonely," he says, his smile gently dwindling now as he speaks, he was so grateful toward Naz for the company that he provided, always there for him when he needed.
"I was wondering if you wanted to go somewhere, do something with me. I think we need to get up to some trouble, or just have fun!" he exclaims boldly, glad to take Nazariy along with him or allow him to provide options for them both.
