Like a flower waiting to bloom - Kyveli - Kylin - 08-29-2018 Now Kypria does not need to nurse every few hours anymore, and Ivar is keeping an eye on their daughter, Kylin is free to stray away. Just for a little, and probably not too long. Kypria might not need her mother around all the time, but the lavender woman still does really her daughters close. Both of them. There is one particular spot that comes to mind when looking for Kyveli. Her daughter had inherited her family’s gift, and Kylin cannot deny that being able to share the experience does excite her. She knows that the purple and lavender girl shares her love for the water, so the sea between their home and the main island is where Kylin looks. Even with the end of autumn in sight, and winter at their doorstep, the weather in Ischia is unchanged. It is a cloudless day, though you can see the smoke of Tephra’s volcano at the horizon, which allows the sun to warm the beach and the water. All without being too hot, the breeze coming from open sea cools just enough. It is the same breeze that carries her voice onto sea, as she calls out her eldest daughter’s name, “Kyveli!” Hazel eyes glide across the sea’s dancing surface, both her ears first pointing forward, then twisting around. Kyvi might very well not be at sea, but somewhere hidden among the island’s vegetation instead. @[Kyveli] Sorry for the wait! RE: Like a flower waiting to bloom - Kyveli - Kyveli - 09-12-2018 Kyveli
Kyveli is in fact, more often than not found between the islands, and her mother is right to call for her there first. This time, she's planning (for a second time) to make a trek around the largest island for real, not to be held up by a blind colt in a cove for once. But again, fate is against her, because Kylin calls for her.
She debates for a short moment if she should just run and pretend not to hear her, as teenagers often would - but she caves, and dances around the waves with a ballet-dancer's grace, practised in this skill for a year now, almost. "Coming!" She starts into a race then, and comes to a sliding stop near the beach (she doesn't want to stop in the sand), sending a wave of water forward to her mother, the filly giggling as she showers the lavender tobiano mare with sea foam. "At your service." she says playfully. Then, she looks around, expecting her to ask if she can watch Kypria, but does not see her baby sister. "Where's Kyp?" I only wanted to one time see you laughing

The grin is still patched unto her face when her mother reacts more playfully than she might have expected from her, and she prances sideways on the waves to avoid getting all too wet. Honestly she doesn’t mind getting too wet, she’d been jumping around the water for a time now, so that she was getting a little wet was a given. But in Ischia the water was never truly cold, and her movements had kept her warm also, even though the temperature today was maybe more modest than in other seasons.
She shrugs at her mother’s question, it’s not important enough for a full answer, instead she nods at the question. ”Of course! Hey, did you even walk around the whole main island?” she questions, curious if her mother ever explored that far. When her lavender and cream mother tells her about her sister napping, Kyvi tilts her head, then nods. Okay, no Kyp today. But apparently that meant she could choose what they would be doing, hmm. Oh! ”Did you know there’s another family tucked away in one of the coves?” she tells her. ”I met this cute little blind boy. His name is Tyr. I wonder if he ever leaves there.” she muses, then looks at her mother, wondering if she ever at all met anyone besides Ivy on this island. ”How far have you been on the sea?” she can’t help asking. In other words, how far can I go, too. Next spring will be her second birthday, and she considers herself old enough to go exploring the world some more then, perhaps. I only wanted to one time see you laughing
