I Really Have Missed You [Chemdog] - Sreva - 05-14-2017 Following their reunion in the meadow some time ago, Sreva had willingly followed the black stallion to the new piece of territory in the River he'd staked a claim on. Or at least, where he was residing for now. The River kingdom didn't seem to be fully established yet, more like a gathering of horses that had yet to find a more permanent home. Not that Sreva was complaining about her living situation; the River was quite a peaceful place, with its large amount of trees, including the large one she'd seen just yesterday when she was out exploring the kingdom's land with Neoma. The roan mare had followed Sreva here, under the guise that she wanted to see what this place was like. Apparently, she'd been to several territories in Beqanna's land, but none had suited her fancy or told her it would make a good place to call home. So she'd kept moving on, until that day when Sreva spotted her in the Meadow after reuniting with Chemdog. Neoma originally didn't want to come along, thinking that the stallion would try and force her to stay as others years before had. Though Sreva knew what he was like, she assured her friend that while Chemdog could be a bit of the 'in-your-face' type, he wouldn't keep Neoma here against her will, unless she did something to really piss him off. And, knowing her friend, Neoma might do that by pure accident. So, with a warning to watch what she said and did around the stallion, the two bid their goodbyes temporarily, for while Neoma was remaining in the River territory, she'd gone off to explore it more and see what secrets it held in the large expanse of trees covering the land. Sreva, while curious as well, was content to remain in the large patch of grazing meadow beneath the largest tree in the kingdom's territory; a massive, far-reaching oak with a trunk base at least 5 times bigger of how long Sreva's body was. The large branches expanded out with amazing length, providing plenty of shade for those who wished to escape the sweltering heat of the summer sun. Only now, it served as a means of shelter from the icy cold winds of winter. While some other trees shed their leaves as horses shed their coats with season's change, this large and burly oak was hanging on despite the biting winter frost. Some leaves had fallen, but a majority were still clinging to the branches and twigs with surprising strength, allowing Sreva to stay undercover and clear of any falling snow that might land on her pelt and give her even more of an Appaloosa's appearance. The mare used her hoof to pick at the dirt to get some of the good grass, since the majority of it was dead. Finding food in the winter might be hard, but Sreva didn't care. She was used to hard challenges of survival, and this one was no different. As she took another bite, grumbling at how it wasn't as good as the spring grass, her thoughts drifted to the black stallion. When she arrived, she heard through the grapevine that Chemdog was spending time with a filly of his, and Sreva, not wishing to interrupt, had taken Neoma to another part of the territory before they went their separate ways. It had been some time since that day, and Sreva did wonder if Chemdog was still off with the filly, catching up on what they'd lost. The mare did hope to see the stallion again soon, but for now, she'd allow him his piece. Moving further under cover of the tree's branches and leaves, she continued to absentmindedly pick at the small blades of grass, her mind at times wandering to the powerful creature she'd spent a great deal of time missing over the last couple of years. @[Chemdog] RE: I Really Have Missed You [Chemdog] - Chemdog - 05-17-2017 Winter’s grip is loosening, he pondered idly, eyes glazed over frozen on the tumbling water beside him. He dreams by the river’s sharp edge sometimes, among the alders and the moss and various wetland trees. Still the snow is ankle deep, knee and chest height in some places left untrodden; it is chunky and slippery, half melted and half mud. The usual deep jade palette of moss and hanging leaves of his hide-out is now gray, brown and white – and of course, the crystal waters rushing over beaten stones. This place has turned out to be a rather serene hang out, so serene that he expects someone to kick him out any day now…So far though, he’s been left to his desires, adventures, siestas in peace. That’s good enough for him to linger uninvited until told otherwise. The river’s sound engulfs all things within a hundred or so yards of its path, drowning all else. One’s eyes become keen when lurking about in hidey-holes by the rushing water’s edge. He sees the broken azure pattern slither through the thick maple trees first and his ears perk even though their pretty useless at the moment. Soon after he’s assured it’s another horse, the starry roan bum of Sreva becomes obvious to him. He grins to himself and makes his way up the bank and through the small grove of maples between them, closing the distance. His lofty trot makes each step a prominent thud, throwing chunks of snow and mud in his wake. He comes in slow though and his nose is held out to meet Sreva’s gently, whuffing softly in part from trotting up the hill in snow and partly out of affection. “You brought a friend.” His lips still on Sreva’s, pushing her lovingly while his teal eyes find the blue roan. He can read her reluctance, but he’s not sure if it is the normal amount of reluctance everyone sort of has when they’re in a new place or is it like, suspicious reluctance? He’s puzzled, but doesn’t let that play across his smirk and tilted bright eyes, wet with curiosity as they stiffen on Neoma. “Well, welcome.” He says this playfully and returns his attention to the mare at the end of his nose. He nibbles her, even licks her lips and cheek a little. Her longing is returned. chemdog astra inclinant, sed non obligant. @[Sreva] RE: I Really Have Missed You [Chemdog] - Sreva - 05-17-2017 The loud thumping noise reached Sreva's ears long before the stallion got to her side. Upon hearing the noise, Sreva's ears went up, her head turning to look at who was coming. Seeing that it was Chemdog, her eyes softened, and the mare let out a soft whicker of greeting, glad to see the stallion again. She took a few steps from Neoma's side, standing tall for Chemdog as he walked up to her. Sreva ran her muzzle up the stallion's powerful neck, blowing small spurts of air from her nostrils. She felt the threads of his mane tickle her nose, relishing in the warmth they brought to her chilled face. His eyes turned to Neoma as he stated the obvious, causing Sreva to let out a small chuckle. She stepped closer to the stallion so that he could see Neoma better, the painted mare pressing her body close against his, glad to have him by her side again. Neoma, on the other hoof, didn't seem so interested. The mare glanced at Chemdog and nodded her head before returning to her grazing, clearly not that impressed with the powerful stallion. Sreva glanced sheepishly at Chem, "She's not much of a talker, until you get to know her." RE: I Really Have Missed You [Chemdog] - Chemdog - 05-21-2017 He skin is blanketed in goose-flesh when her lips trail the muscles of his neck beneath his mane. He moans, even growls a little and presses into her as she comes to stand beside him. His yeyes distractedly flash over the other mare but his body, his attention, is enveloped by Sreva and her mottled little curves. He cannot think of much else besides her fitting beneath him like a perfect piece of stone broken off from its mate. How they fit together smoothly, with ease. He nibbles her shoulder and leaves another swath of spit behind as he travels up her neck with bite-kisses. He gets to her ear, growling, breathing into her “I’ve missed this, you, your body…” He touches the shallow bulge of her chest muscles, dwarfed in comparison to his own – he loves how delicate a women is compared to himself. How gentle he must be, how fragile and sweet they are (well, some). "She's not much of a talker, until you get to know her." The words go unnoticed, it seems, and he only continues to trace down from her ear to her cheek and down to her lips. He licks softly at the edges of her silky mouth, feeling the heat from inside the moistness behind her muzzle. “Will you come for a stroll with me?” The sun will set soon and so the moon will be out…she’s going to be big and glowing tonight. He remembers their moonlight walks, their times on the cliffside watching the waves lap under a silver grinning moon. chemdog astra inclinant, sed non obligant. @[Sreva] RE: I Really Have Missed You [Chemdog] - Sreva - 05-22-2017 Though Neoma was still grazing nearby, probably overhearing most of what was being said between Sreva and the stallion, the painted mare didn't care. She let her eyes flutter in content as Chemdog moved his muzzle down toward her shoulder, using his teeth to scrape at her skin, relieving any itches she might have had there. He moved up her neck again, whispering into her ear before brushing his muzzle against the well-built muscles on her chest. And ignoring the words she said completely, Chemdog was only preoccupied with Sreva it seemed. The mare turned her head to look at him, wondering why he hadn't said anything about Neoma, before asking if she'd come on a stroll with him. Though she wished for her friend to get to know Chemdog better since Neoma would now more than likely be living in his territory if she wished to stay around a friend, Sreva couldn't help but turn and smile at the stallion. "That sounds like a lovely idea," she offered, already stepping away from her friend after giving a goodbye glance and encouraging Chemdog to follow her as she smiled.
