He’s not entirely sure why he’s here.

He’s stopped by to visit since his return, and found the place utterly disappointing.  Since Elite’s downfall, and the disappearance of his father, mother, and grandmother, the Valley has become a shadow of its former self.  It’s not the kind of kingdom that he has any interest in living in any longer.

So why is he back?  Anger?  Nostalgia?  He’s not really sure.

But nonetheless, his iron hooves travel the familiar paths until he stands where the statues of the rulers once stood.  Only rubble remains now.  Pity - his father’s should have at least been left standing.  He made the Valley what it is, after all.

He sighs, and starts making his way towards the thick forest that surrounds the kingdom.  He’d spent much of his childhood in there, training with his grandmother and mother, honing his skills.  He’d been naive then - he had thought the Valley’s glory would last forever.  Part of him misses those days, though he knows he can never go back.  He might as well see if any of their old haunting grounds are still around while he’s here though.  And maybe, just maybe, he will run into one of the old believers while he is here.
