Content on letting the two mares work out whatever issues they were having, he is about to speak up when the pied mare decides they are off to the field.  An attempt to quickly interject, "We...Well I... I," and they are off and in conversation so his voice trails to "I was gonna ask if you wanted to come with..." But they are far from ear shot as he watches them grow smaller with distance.  A snort leaves his nares as he tosses his silver head into the air.  Re-gaining his composure and a shrug of his sloped shoulder.  Dismissing it as perhaps they weren't interested in a home or guys. 

With not more than a spin on his hunches he is back on course for Hyaline.  He wasn't about chasing tail...
