Teslah's mother Azlyn was abandoned by her own mother at a young age along with her sister Makaria. Azlyn was adopted and raised in the Amazons, became an Amazon warrior, fought in the Chamber war (from which she received some large scars), and became disheartened with the whole idea of fighting and left the Amazons. She wandered for a bit, during which she had five brief flings producing five kids, one of which was Teslah. Teslah and her younger sister Kida were raised together, family is probably pretty important to her (something Azlyn would have instilled in her).
