A mysterious air hung around the typically quiet lady, a sense of regal dignity. Those foolish enough to assume that she was a creature who was easily manipulated, a doormat to be stepped upon or kicked around would be sorely mistaken. With a spine of steel and more courage in a single hoof then a lot have in their whole bodies, Valoris holds valiantly to her convictions. It was in that steel one would find an unbendable will and a loyalty that knows no bounds. Though she was sweet by nature, even after years among the corruption of her peers, she had yet to adapt to such a tenancy. A diplomat, which isn't to surprising as her skill with words are renowned among her birth herd, had even been known by a few outside her immediate family while growing up, before the fire had changed their lives. This is not a mare who does things by half instead once dedicated to something she will put all of her heart and soul into it. Never once giving up, nor backing down. If that isn't enough complexity to this seemingly simple creature another facade would be her simple lack of fear in most everything. You will never find her backing down unless ordered to do so, whether her skills equal to the task or not. Except one, a paralyzing fear of fires born from the major tragedies that had nearly claimed her life. After having seen those who meant something to her burned to a crisp, her home destroyed by such a primal uncontrollable beast, not once but twice in her life has left her emotionally scarred in certain aspects of her existence. As for love, while she has plenty to give to colleagues and friends, it would take a special stallion to truly capture her heart. But once given it, like with everything else she is, would be with every ounce of her being.
