Less tall than his sire, Raum shares many of his mother's pony-ish traits - dense bone, well-sprung ribs, large eyes in a short face, and overall gives a sense of nimble and sure-footed ruggedness. From his sire he takes more refinement, evident in the length of his neck and legs.

His red eyes are bright and intelligent and his smile quick, if a little crooked due to the uneven way his sharp teeth have grown in.

In place of a true mane, he has a ridge of iridescent black feathers running down his neck, which lay flat when relaxed but, when agitated, will stand up in a peculiar display at his crest. He has scattered feathering across his body, including the tips of his ears, along his shoulders, back and dock, and at his elbows. The exact amount and placement of these contour feathers can vary depending on the season, but those along his neck are always present.

Ready for adventure but can be moody and prone to emotional outbursts. Self-indulgent and acquisitive.
