SOCHI -- Year 207
"He will inevitably decide that it all fell apart because he had orchestrated it and he will carry the blame like a stone in his chest, too. He will add it to the pile and perhaps, someday when there are enough stones to weigh him down, he will walk into the sea and let them drown him" -- Kensley, written by Savage
Breed: Welsh Cob
Color: Sunfire[Double Cream Ivory Champagne w/supernatural influence] (SunFire)
Eyes: Crimson Red
Mane & Tail:
Due to inheriting the SunFire gene from her father, this femme was born with crimson eyes with the right baring a white crescent moon over it accompanied by two small yellow stars and a near-white iridescent coat that rapidly shifted into the brilliant colors not too unlike a setting sun by the end of her sixth month while still retaining that almost metallic shine. Her points are a deep orange that fade out gradually towards her torso which is mostly a bright yellow. She also sports striping - not too unlike that typically seen with duns - over her withers, front pasterns, and hind legs leading up to her thighs. Should any of her offspring inherit the SunFire gene, the lighter their base coat is, the more vibrant the SunFire gene will show through. ¤~For reasons unknown, many of her ancestors have thick, stunted manes which take on a naturally clipped and crest-like appearance and yet their tails are lustrous and long. ¤~She wears two earrings; a golden hoop and a chain of white gold that is also attached to her crest. These are of course cannot be inherited but they may be passed down if she so chooses. 15.2hh, she is neither the tallest nor the smallest of mares. Her head is small and her eyes large and expressive with well-set ears and an arched nape, meeting sloped and strong shoulders. Her back is short, her legs clean, sound, and proportionate with her lithe frame which allows for fast and bold movements. Her hindquarters are strong and her tail set high, yet still her brilliant tendrils graze the ground, though only by about an inch or so. Overall, she is stronger than she may appear, many taking her for nothing more than an exotic - if not bizarre- made rather than thinking to consider just how much of a challenge she can become to those up to no good. No doubt it would definitely be a good call not to judge this book by her cover.
On a typical day, Shezira is warm and patient with a very friendly and welcoming air about her. Bright in more ways than one, while she is cheerful she is also rather clever and quit-witted. Naturally inquisitive and curious, she isn't perhaps as cautious as some but that far from makes her foolhardy. And yet, also like the star she embodies, there is also a side to her that can be fierce, unpredictable, and perhaps a touch impulsive. Her curiosity will turn into fearlessness, her intelligence mind into one of strategy and tactic, and her patience into often unforeseen tenacity as well as persistence. Her friendliness will change into protectiveness when she feels it is needed, showing through a mare that isn't afraid to take on a bully or an attacker against herself or others - especially foals. There is a natural maternal instinct hardwired into Shezira, perhaps coming from the struggles she endured during her foalhood, and so if/when she has any of her own or takes in those left behind she will become the living and breathing definition to the term of "mother bear".
